Cosmic Chaos is the 3rd book in the cosmic series...

Vance wants nothing but to hide away in his lab, but fate intervenes when the one woman who stirs his heart crashes into him. The CHAOS begins when Kullan on the run from two goons falls in the arms of her longtime crush.

 Book Blurb:

Kullanmuru Graham has always had a crush on the book-smart Vance (Chance & Valeen's son), but she's never had the nerve to tell him. As an Intergalactic Enforcement Agent, she's on a secret mission to retrieve remotes designed to take over the minds of women. On the run from two goons, she literally runs into Vance's transport.

Vance may be book-smart and might like working with biophysics and molecular sciences, but he's a man who knows what he wants, and he wants Kullanmuru. Only, he's never told her how he really feels. Vance would rather spend his days in a musty lab than take over the family business—being King of Kiumbria. When his transport crashes and he finds out who ran into him, the Chaos beings…

“Are you alright, Kullan? Do you need a Restorative Center?”

She mumbled something incoherent and then clutched his shirt.

“I can’t understand you. Do you want me to call the emergency-evac?” Vance couldn’t believe Kullan had crashed into him. It wasn’t like her to be a reckless driver or at least, he didn’t believe her to be. He leaned on his good leg and tried to get her to answer him. She pulled his arm, trying to drag him inside.

“Drive.”

“What? You’re injured; we should get you to an RC right away.”

“They’re going to kill me, Vance. Get in and drive.”

Vance wasn’t going to argue with her, given the dire tone of her voice. If someone was going to kill her, then they’d kill him too. She moved to the passenger seat and he slipped inside.

“Where do you want me to go?”

“Anywhere, just get me out of here. Drive, and step on it.” She threw her head back against the seat cushioned headrest and began moaning.

He did as she asked and put the LOC into motion, surprised the vehicle was still operational. Her transport hadn’t been as damaged as his was.

“Are you alright? You’re hurt.” Vance kept his gaze on the auto way, making sure they wouldn’t crash again or that they weren’t being followed.

Kullan had a nice gash on her forehead, and he thought to help her by reaching to the back for something to hold over it so she wouldn’t lose more blood. He noticed a duffle and tried to reach for it, when she punched him.

“Oww, that hurt. Why’d you hit me? I was just trying to get something for your head. You need to stop the bleeding.”

“I’m fine, just drive.” She placed her palm over the gash and settled him.

He kept his eyes on the auto-zone and looked at the viewer panel to see if anyone followed. The atmosphere grew dim, much darker than it should be. Celtaxy usually brightened this time of day with the sun in the lower quadrant with the moons lending more brightness to the planet.

“Faster, go faster.”

Vance glared. “I’m going as fast as I can. Whoever is trailing you doesn’t seem to be following you anymore. Maybe they thought you crashed.”

A loud ping sounded on the craft and jolted the vehicle, causing it to veer a bit to the left until Vance regained control.

“Or maybe not. Druk, what was that?”

Kullan moaned. “What do you think it was? Get us out of here. Press the hyper button.” She leaned over him, her breast grazing his forearm, when he pushed her back.

He did as she asked and the transport shifted into hyper speed. Maybe they were following her, but at this speed he should be able to lose them. There was no doubt about it; her transport was just shot at by a phaser-ray, so someone was definitely after her.

Vance wasn’t sure where to go, but he kept driving until he neared the complex where he’d rented a unit. When he needed to escape his parents, he’d hide out like a youngling there. Considering how they treated him, he should have moved into the unit a long time ago and gained his independence. Thinking about them made him realize just how childish they made him feel.

“I live just ahead. Do you want me to take you to my unit?”

“Is that a come-on?”

He frowned at her question. What the druk did she think that for? Wasn’t he trying to help her? He should have left her at the crash site. Then he thought about his uncle and considered what Jack might say.

“If you want it to be, then yeah, stunner, a come-on. What do you think?” He gave her a look of disgust. “You have a gash the size of the Milky Way on your forehead and I’m just trying to get you to safety, not into my bed. Now, do you want to go to my unit or not?” He’d practically barked at her, but he took a breath, hoping to calm down.

“You don’t have to shout, you know. Fine, we’ll go to your unit.”
